We really do love our job and aim to give the best results possible, using a carefully selected and safe range of products. This allows you to book with us giving you the confidence that your vehicle is in the correct hands.
Please give us as much prior notice as possible in the event that you need to cancel your appointment. Please allow at least 48hrs for any cancellations.
By booking with DSD Valeting you are agreeing to the following.
In the event that you cancel, reschedule or downgrade your booking, fees will be charged as detailed below:
Cancellations, rescheduling or downgrading package within 24hrs/Day Prior to your scheduled booking: 50% of the agreed/advertised price.
Cancellations, Rescheduling or downgrading package Same day of scheduled booking: 100% of the agreed/advertised price.
Arriving later than 30 minutes for a scheduled booking, we may not be able to carry out your service as this may delay other appointments: 100% of the agreed/advertised price.
Vehicle unavailable for us to carry out the service without prior notification: 100% of the agreed/advertised price
Deposits may be taken in some instances, deposits are non-refundable & non transferable following the above details.
If your vehicle has any bodily fluids, mud, mould, paint or heavily soiled with pet hair we ask you make us aware prior to booking. If we are presented with any of the above, your car may have to be requoted and possibly rescheduled. If a deposit has been paid or appointment paid in full, we may not be able to issue a refund.
In the unlikely event that your appointment has to be delayed or cancelled by us, we will contact you as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any consequential losses resulting from such delay or cancellation.
Prices shown on our website, Facebook, flyers or discussed by phone, are a quotation and may be subject to change once we have seen your vehicle. Our prices reflect the average condition that we would expect to see. Should the vehicle not be as described or significantly dirtier than we would reasonably expect ie. Excessive interior mess and or dirt, Excessive dog hair, Mouldy upholstery, nicotine and/or other odours etc, there may be additional charges. Providing detailed pictures or discussing this with us prior to your booking will allow us to give a more accurate estimate
We will always discuss your individual requirements upon inspection of the vehicle prior to the work commencing.
Payment methods are Cash, Card, Bank Transfer or Gift Voucher Upon Completion. All Payments are to be made on the day and we will hold the vehicles keys until services are paid in full unless otherwise agreed.
A digital receipt can also be provided upon request.
Payment by Invoice should be agreed at time of booking and the full amount should be paid in full by a specified date. Failure to do so may incur additional charges.
Most of the services listed on our website have an "Estimated Time To Complete" next to them. It is common to go a little over the estimated time as we always give that little extra attention to detail, culminating in job satisfaction, customer satisfaction and the Wow factor!
We will not be held liable for any consequential losses resulting from such delay.
We carry out our valet services all year round but, on some occasions, the weather prevents us from pursuing our normal duties. In this event, if you have an undercover area or suitable garage, we could still valet your vehicle. If no such sheltered work area is available, bad weather may regrettably force us to cancel, this can result in us cancelling at short notice or during your valet, for this we may require a partial payment for the completed work and would endever to re-schedule and complete the outstanding part of your valet, unless otherwise agreed. We will contact you by phone to confirm the cancellation and to re-schedule a more suitable appointment.
If you have booked a valeting service, please make sure your vehicle is in a reasonable condition by removing excess items from the interior and boot area. Its best to remove all your personal belongings, or put them in a bag away from rubbish that we will clear. N.B. Items that may resemble rubbish ie. Paperwork, receipts, opened juice or food could be considered disposable and, therefore, removed and disposed of. We will not be held responsible in such a situation.
As a professional business we are fully insured for the work we carry out and for public liability. Although we take the utmost care and attention while carrying out all of our services, we can not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from poor fitting and/or damaged trim, loose or faulty parts, flaking paint from corrosion and/or poor repairs, stone chips etc, water ingress from poor or broken seals. Please ensure you make us fully aware of any potential problems before we start the valet.
Where a customer has asked us to touch up/polish a scratch and/or already damaged area of a vehicle. We can not be held responsible for further damage being caused through wet sanding, abrasive polishes etc.
Please note we do take picture(s) of your vehicle for social media &promotional purposes, if you do not want your vehicle on social media, it is your duty to inform us.
